For non-campus wifi use:

  • Open and turn on laptop
  • Press ctrl+alt+del
  • If not connected to wifi, click the no internet connection No internet connection icon icon and sign in to any wifi network.
  • Once connected, select the dual-monitor “Network sign-in” icon just left of the internet icon.
  • In the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client pop-up window, type “vpn.illinois.edu” and click Continue
  • In the Cisco AnyConnect vpn.illinois.edu pop-up window, enter your netID and password and click Okay
  • Sign in to laptop with NetID and password.
