Improving the Peer Review Policies of Your Journal -- For Editors and Editorial Board Members
Are you an editor or editorial board member of a scholarly journal and working on writing or improving a peer review policy? This workshop will help you to understand the main elements of a peer review policy, its connection to publication criteria, peer review model, reviewer guidelines, and its importance in guiding the behavior of reviewers throughout the peer review process. In addition, the instructor will share resources to help editors write a peer review policy.
While all are welcome to attend this workshop, the primary audience is editors and editorial board members including for undergraduate journals. If you are an undergraduate or graduate students interested in peer review, including creating a new journal, please register for the session on November 1.

- Directions to Room 314, Main Library:
- Take the north stairwell (Armory and Wright Street entrance) to the 3rd floor of the Main Library and make a left at the top of the stairs.
- Alternatively, take the elevator located next to the University Archives office (near the Wright St. entrance). When you arrive on the 3rd floor, room 314 is the second door on the left side of the hall. If you have trouble finding it, please ask the Info Desk located at the center of the 1st floor or either of the service desks in The Orange Room.
