Introduction to Spatial Audio
In our everyday experience, sounds come from all around us; however, recorded sound has been traditionally limited to two speakers. New processing hardware and software algorithms allow us to work with sound in three dimensions! Experience the 21.2 speaker immersive audio system at the SCIM Lab and learn how to use free software to work with audio in this new paradigm - even on normal headphones!
