Introduction to Extended Reality (XR) Technologies
The field of XR hardware continues to advance rapidly. In this workshop we will give an overview of the various headsets available in the SCIM Lab and allow for hands-on demo time. We will also investigate using Unity and Unreal Engine to author XR applications. Aspects from prior workshops on motion capture, virtual production and spatial audio will emerge as we discuss creating XR experiences.
