Atlas.ti for Qualitative Data Analysis Online

Atlas.ti is a desktop and web-based software for analyzing qualitative data, including text, image and video, and survey data. With Atlas.ti, you can code data by hand, automatically using keyword searches, and via AI. In addition to coding data, you can view the results of your coding in different configurations, write memos about your developing analysis, create concept maps, quantify qualitative data, and use AI to summarize or “chat” with your data.

In this workshop, we’ll discuss how to create a Atlas.ti project, add data, code text data, and view the results of coding in multiple configurations. We’ll also talk through methods of collaboration with both the web and desktop versions of Atlas.ti.

Atlas.ti offers a free trial that lets you use the software for free for five days within a 20-day period. It is available for both Mac and PC, and the web version can be used on any major web browser.

This workshop is offered in a hybrid format and will be recorded. Slides and a recording of a previous version of this workshop are available on the QDA research guide
