Qualitative Data Analysis with MAXQDA Online
MAXQDA is a licensed tool for analyzing qualitative data, including text, PDFS, audio visual, and survey data. In this workshop, we’ll walk through setting up a project, building a coding system, and explore ways of viewing coded data in order to respond to your research questions.
Illinois Computes has recently purchased access to MAXQDA with a license that allows up to 5 simultaneous users. You must be on campus or connected to the VPN to use the network license. If you find that you are not able to log in, please let Jess or Illinois Computes so they can consider additional licenses. Instructions to get access to MAXQDA are available online.
You can also download a free 14-day trial of the software to use it during the workshop.
This workshop will be recorded and made available on the QDA research guide. Slides and a recording of a previous workshop are available online. You can also find recordings of workshops on NVivo, Atlas.ti, and free tools for QDA on the guide.
For individual or small group consultations on QDA strategies and technology, you can schedule an appointment with Jess. Interested in other qualitative software?
