The Great Michigan Pizza Funeral
In 1973, Mario Fabbrini held a funeral outside Ossineke, Michigan. A crowd gathered to honor the deceased: approximately 30,000 frozen pizza pies. Visit our exhibit at Funk ACES Library to learn more about this strange little tale of pizza, botulism, and the humor one must turn to when faced with difficult times.
