Considering AI for Qualitative Research Online
Thinking about using AI for your qualitative project? In this workshop we’ll explore examples of how AI has been used in qualitative data analysis and factors to consider as you decide wheter to use AI tools in your own work.
By the end of the workshop, we hope you'll be able to:
1) Describe at least two different ways that researchers have used AI in published qualitative research.
2) Identify how AI has been integrated into QDA software
3) Assess the ethical implications of AI use in research, particularly for research with human subjects
4) Identify AI use policies and practices relevant to your research project
This workshop be held via Zoom and recorded for later viewing on the Qualitative Data Analysis research guide. Anyone who registers for the in-person or online version of this workshop will recieve an email with a link to the recording and slides.
