Building Toward Sustainable Instruction

Too much library instruction and too little library instruction are two sides of the same coin: both are less than ideal and don’t let us shine as instructors! If you are or have been in either of these situations (or if you just want to talk about them!), please join the Library Instruction Collective on October 28 at 10am in Main 106. We’ll have an overview of instruction burnout and FOMO and then we’ll engage in guided conversations to share experiences and strategies for building a more sustainable and balanced instruction portfolio. Note that all are welcome, however, registration will help us plan for food and beverages. (Please note that Civil Service non-exempt staff should get permission from their supervisor before planning to attend.)
