Qualitative Data Analysis with NVivo

NVivo is a popular tool for analyzing qualitative data. In this workshop, we'll work through the process of setting up a research project in NVivo. The workshop is open to those who are new to NVivo and those who have experience but would like to learn more or ask questions specific to your research project.

By the end of the workshop, we expect you'll be able to:

  • Import your qualitative data into NVivo
  • Implement qualitative data analysis strategies in NVivo, including: coding, auto coding and word searching, comparing coded, data across variables, memoing, and developing conceptual maps
  • Describe factors to consider when working in a research team using NVivo
