NVivo is a popular tool for qualitative data analysis (and one of the tools available on the Scholarly Commons computers). In this workshop, we’ll discuss NVivo’s features and capabilities so you can decide how you might use it to answer your own qualitative research questions.    If you’d like to try out NVivo during the workshop, you can also get a trial version from QSR. Please note, however, that the version I’ll be using to demonstrate the software is not the most recent version available from the company. The features, however, are generally named the same thing, and you should still be able to follow along.  Learning Outcomes - By the end of the workshop, we expect you'll be able to: Upload text and media data to an NVivo file  Create codes or nodes in NVivo and use them to code text and media data  Retrieve and review coded data using NVivo’s analysis features. This workshop will be offered in a hybrid format. You may attend in-person in Library 314 or via Zoom. The registration form asks you to indicate which format you plan to attend, but you may choose whatever format works best for you on the date of the workshop.
