Qualitative Data Analysis with Atlas.ti Online

Atlas.ti is a software for conducting qualitative and mixed methods analysis. Within Atlas.ti, you can upload and analyze text, multimedia, or survey data in a way that helps you answer your research question. Atlas.ti  In this workshop, we will work towards an understanding of Atlas.ti's capabilities and explore how this tool can be used in your research plan. This workshop does not assume any previous knowledge of Atlas.ti or other QDA software.

By the end of the workshop, we expect that you'll be able to: 

  • Describe how to access the Atlas.ti desktop and web-based programs 
  • Describe the basic capabilities of Atlas.ti's desktop and web-based programs, including: 1. Data types that can be analyzed 2. How to upload and analyze survey data 3. How to manually and automatically code data 4. Ways to view coded data and 5. Explore collaboration capabilities
  • Describe how the basic features of Atlas.ti can be used in your own data analysis plan
