About the Recording Booth:
The Scholarly Commons Recording Booth is designed to record one person at a time. This is a "Bring Your Own Device" space - no computer is installed. Within the Recording Booth there is USB microphone, a pair of headphones, a power strip, and a small shelf for a laptop or other device.
You can find instructions on how to operate the booth via signage on the wall in the booth. If you are having issues with the space or have feedback to improve our services, please use the Scholarly Commons Spaces Feedback and Issue Reporting form.
The Self-Use Recording Booth is unstaffed. If you need to schedule an in-person orientation, please use the Scholarly Commons Consultation Request form (please be aware that this will require several days advance notice and an initial response may take up to two business days).
